Job summary

Cyient in Pune district seeks an experienced design engineer specializing in welding and assembly fixtures using Creo. You will contribute from concept through design, verify tolerances, and prepare manufacturing drawings.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, fixtures, and Windchill PDM familiarity; excellent English communication and the ability to work independently on projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in concept and design for welding, assembly, and gauge inspection using Creo.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, resting, locating, and clamping principles.
• Proficient in GD&T and creating manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret product drawings and prints; perform tolerance stack analysis.
• Good English communication and ability to execute projects independently.

Job description

• 6+ years of hands experience in concept and design of welding, Assembly and Gauge Inspection using Creo CAD Tool.
• Good understanding of various Manufacturing processes, Resting, locating & Clamping principles
• Good in GD&T and Create the manufacturing drawings.
• Knowledge on manufacturing drawings review.
• Knowledge on PDM-Windchill is added advantage.
• Materials used for Fixture design, welding symbol & Heat treatment process.
• Knowledge for Limit Fit & Tolerances, Geometric tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret product drawings and prints.
• Large assembly tolerance stack analysis.
• Good English communication and ability execute project independently.
