Job summary

Single Window Consulting is seeking a skilled Tool Design Engineer to design HPDC tools based on customer requirements and specifications. You will contribute to new product development, modify existing tool designs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver manufacturable tools.

Responsibilities include planning tool designs with 3D CAD, managing documentation, and supporting external tool designers and vendors while ensuring quality and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-pressure die casting tooling design.
• Proficient with 3D CAD tools such as CATIA/AutoCAD/SolidWorks.

Job Summary

The position will be responsible for designing and developing HPDC (High-Pressure Die Casting) tools based on customer requirements and technical specifications. The role will involve new product development, modification of existing tool designs, coordination with cross-functional teams, and providing technical support to external tool designers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design HPDC tools based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Execute tool design activities with accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining the required quality standards.
• Participate in New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
• Identify components and requirements that need to be sourced externally and coordinate with the Purchase team accordingly.
• Modify existing tool designs and maintain proper documentation of all design changes.
• Plan and execute tool designs for complex components and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
• Ensure tool design and development activities are executed within the approved project budget.
• Provide technical support to external tool designers and vendors to ensure cost-effective and manufacturable tool designs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for the smooth execution of tool design and development activities.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines with a focus on teamwork, safety, quality.
