Job summary

On Direct Marketing Services is seeking a vigilant security supervisor to lead a team of guards and ensure strict adherence to policies and SOPs. You will oversee rosters, access control, CCTV operation, incident reporting, and daily logs to maintain a secure environment.

The role requires ex-serviceman preferred, army/security experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work rotating shifts while coordinating with local authorities when needed.

Qualifications

• Ex-Serviceman from Indian Army preferred.
• Minimum 1015 years of Army/security experience preferred.
• Experience in security supervision, administration, or industrial security is an advantage.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Physically fit and medically suitable for security duties.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, reporting) preferred.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage security guards and security staff.
• Prepare duty rosters, shift schedules, and deployment plans.
• Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles, and contractors.
• Ensure proper checking and access-control procedures.
• Conduct regular security rounds and inspections.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain security registers, incident reports, and daily logs.
• Handle emergencies, incidents, theft, fire, and other security threats.
• Coordinate with police, fire services, and emergency agencies when required.
• Conduct regular briefings and training for security personnel.
• Ensure guards follow company security policies, SOPs, and discipline.
• Check security equipment, gates, barriers, communication systems, and other facilities.
• Investigate and report security incidents to management.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, alertness, and confidentiality.
