Job summary

Job Description – Security In-charge Position

The Security Head is responsible for safeguarding the company's premises, employees, assets, and materials through effective security management. This role oversees vehicle movement (including company vehicles, trucks, and bulkers carrying raw materials and finished goods), supervises a team of company supervisors and outsourced security guards, ensures compliance with safety protocols, and maintains strong liaison with local communities and government authorities. The position also involves vigilance, fire safety management, and proactive risk mitigation to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Management: Monitor and control the movement of company vehicles, trucks, and bulkers transporting raw materials and finished goods; ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 3 company supervisors and 16 security guards (outsourced via a manpower supplier); conduct training, performance monitoring, and discipline enforcement.
  • Visitor Management System (VMS): Implement and oversee visitor entry/exit protocols, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth coordination with HR and reception.
  • Community Liaison: Build and maintain positive relationships with local villagers, surpanchs, and government officials to foster goodwill and prevent conflicts.
  • Employee & Asset Security: Safeguard employees, contractors, and company assets against theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access; conduct periodic audits and inspections.
  • PPE Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to mandatory PPE requirements by employees and contract workmen at the company's main gate.
  • Vigilance & Surveillance: Maintain round‑the‑clock vigilance through patrols, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting; investigate and resolve security breaches promptly.
  • Fire Safety Management: Oversee fire prevention measures, fire tender readiness, and emergency response drills; ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop, update, and enforce security policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans in alignment with company standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate degree (preferred: Security Management, Criminology, or related field).
  • X‑Army preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial security, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large teams of security personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle logistics, visitor management systems, PPE compliance, and fire safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and liaison skills with local communities and government authorities.
