Job summary

Europa Locks in Pune district, Maharashtra, seeks personnel with a mechanical background to handle material planning, SAP operations, and inventory control on site.

The role requires a DME or BE in mechanical engineering with relevant experience, a valid vehicle license, and the ability to work with precision machining and mechanical press processes. Head Office issues formal letters signed by GM Operations.

Qualifications

• DME with 2–3 years' experience or BE mechanical with 1–2 years' experience.
• Male candidates up to 28 years of age.
• Own vehicle with license is must.
• Should have knowledge of SAP.
• Core knowledge: precision machining or mechanical pressing (10 T to 200 T).

Responsibilities

• Material collection as per daily schedules and refilling plans.
• Monitoring and improvements in schedule compliances.
• Maintain standard safety stock of raw material at vendor and inside the factory.
• Achieving cost cut targets through cost cut and waste cut proposals.
• Planning and executing time study / motion studies at supplier end.
• Costing for new component related to time study.
• Document preparation and updation accordingly.
• Daily collection plan review and senior notification.
• Send 3-day rolling plan and follow up as per plan.
• Maintain zero line loss due to material shortage.
• Delivery precision compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of manufacturing inventory, purchase orders, and production schedules.
• Assist with analyzing SCM data to identify efficiency and cost reduction opportunities.

• Time schedule placement/revise/ increased schedule intimation

• Assist with analyzing SCM data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.

Competency (Candidate Profile)

• DME with minimum 2 to 3 years' experience Or BE mechanical with 1 to 2 years' experience.
• Male candidates up to 28 years of age
