Job summary

Europa Locks is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of precision sheet metal and machined components. You will follow TSA/DFMEA processes, work with GD&T, and develop manufacturing-ready parts and jigs.

The role requires 4–6 years in precision product design, strong 3D/2D CAD skills, and good communication to coordinate across teams. BE Mechanical is essential, with BOM preparation responsibilities and PLM familiarity.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree and 4–6 years in precision product design.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and 2D drafting with good understanding of DFM for sheet metal and machined parts.
• Experience with DFMEA and tolerance stack-up analysis; able to plan product testing and manage stage gates.

Responsibilities

• To Do tasks aligned with Project Plan & Flow Sheet.
• Develop small-size sheet metal parts or tools; design and manufacture machined parts, jigs/fixtures.
• Prepare BOMs and coordinate with NPD Flow KH (PLM).

Competency (Candidate Profile)

• BE Mechanical
• 4-6 years relevant experience in Precision product design
• 3D & 2D software knowledge
• DFM knowledge in sheet metal, precision machined components
• Working knowledge of DFMEA, Tolerance stack up analysis
• Good communication and coordination skills
