Job summary

Europa Locks in Pune, India invites a skilled mechanical design engineer to join our precision manufacturing team. The role focuses on designing sheet metal parts, machined components, and fixtures, per project plans and PLM workflows.

Candidates should have BE Mechanical (4–6 years in precision product design), strong 3D/2D CAD skills, DFMEA and tolerance analysis, and good communication to coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree is required.
• 4–6 years of experience in precision product design.
• Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD software.
• DFM knowledge for sheet metal and precision machined components.
• DFMEA and tolerance stack-up analysis knowledge.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on tasks per project plan and flow sheet.
• Prepare project data.
• Prepare costing for SEO.
• Develop small sheet metal parts or tools.
• Design and manufacture machined parts, jigs and fixtures.
• Prepare BOM.
• Follow NPD flow KH (PLM).

• 1. Experience Required: 4-6 years relevant experience in Precision productdesign

• 6. Good communication and coordination skills
