Job summary

URC Construction Pvt Ltd is seeking experienced civil tendering professionals to join the Estimation team in Chennai. You will handle end-to-end tender activities, including technical and commercial evaluation, BOQ preparation, cost analysis, and competitive bid submissions.

The role requires 6–15 years of relevant experience with strong negotiation, leadership, and vendor coordination skills, plus proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MSP for large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in civil tendering, estimation, and cost evaluation.
• Exposure to large-scale construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end civil tendering with technical and commercial evaluation.
• BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, costing, estimation, and rate analysis.
• Prepare accurate project estimates and tender submissions.
• Tender-stage resource planning and vendor/subcontractor coordination.
• Prepare and review estimation reports, cost comparisons, and bids.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
• Vendor follow-up and quotation evaluation.
• Demonstrate negotiation, coordination, leadership and team management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Experience on large-scale building/EPC projects is advantageous.
