Job summary

Standard Infratech India is seeking an Estimation & Tendering Engineer to prepare tenders, BOQs, rate analyses and project costing for civil construction projects. You will study tender documents, drawings, and contract conditions to ensure accurate costings.

The role requires coordinating with purchasing, accounts, and engineering teams, collecting and comparing rates, and delivering timely tender submissions to secure competitive bids.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in Estimation, Tendering and Rate Analysis in the Construction/Infrastructure industry.
• Experience in rate analysis and cost estimation using SOR/DSR rates.
• Proficient in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Knowledge of CPWD/DSR/SOR rates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQ and quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Conduct Rate Analysis for civil construction items using applicable SOR/DSR and market rates.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender quotations.
• Study tender documents, drawings, specifications and contract conditions.
• Collect and compare material, labour, machinery and subcontractor rates.
• Prepare tender submissions and ensure timely submission.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Engineering and Project teams for costing inputs.
• Prepare comparative statements and assist in finalizing competitive tender rates.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders, estimates and rate analysis.
• Support post-tender negotiations and cost clarification.
