Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and tender documentation for construction, infrastructure, and EPC projects. The candidate will play a key role in project costing, budgeting, bid preparation, and commercial planning to support successful project execution and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from drawings and specifications.
- Develop project cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, and infrastructure works.
- Analyze tender documents, project requirements, and technical specifications.
- Prepare rate analysis, cost breakdowns, and pricing schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for estimation inputs.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors for cost evaluation.
- Assist in tender preparation, bid submissions, and commercial proposals.
- Monitor project costs and support budget control activities.
- Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work claims.
- Prepare estimation reports, cost comparisons, and management presentations.
- Maintain estimation databases, cost records, and historical project data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3--8 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, tendering, or commercial management.
- Experience in EPC, infrastructure, highways, buildings, industrial, or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, BOQs, and cost estimation principles.
