The Global Zone in India is seeking a Sales Executive to identify tenders for motor/transformer rewinding, repair and AMC services. This desk-based role supports tender documentation, compilation and submission, with no field visits.

The candidate will search portals like GeM/CPPP, shortlist relevant tenders, prepare bids, coordinate with internal teams and ensure timely submissions within deadlines.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in tender/bid support, government e-procurement, or desk-based sales support.
• Working knowledge of GeM, CPPP and other government e-procurement portals.
• Strong documentation, drafting and MS Office/Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good written communication; desk-based role with no field travel.

Responsibilities

• Search and track tenders daily on government e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, state portals) and tender listing sites.
• Shortlist tenders relevant to motor rewinding, transformer repair and AMC contracts based on eligibility, value and deadlines.
• Assist the Tender Executive in preparing and compiling technical bids, commercial bids, EMD, certificates and licenses.
• Coordinate with technical, accounts and quality teams to collect documents and past project references for bids.
• Support timely online and offline submission of tenders within deadlines.
• Maintain an updated tracker/MIS of identified, submitted, won and lost tenders.
• Follow up on pre-bid queries and clarifications; no site visits.
• Maintain and help renew registrations, licenses and OEM certifications for eligibility.

Job Summary

The Sales Executive will focus on searching and identifying relevant tenders (government and private) for our motor/transformer rewinding, repair, and AMC services, and will support the Tender Executive with tender documentation, compilation, and submission. This is a fully desk-based, back-office role with no field visits or client meetings involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Search and track tenders daily on government e-procurement portals (GeM, CPPP, state portals), PSU/private industry portals (SAIL, JSW, other steel/power plants), and tender listing sites
• Shortlist tenders relevant to our scope HT/LT/DC motor rewinding, transformer repair, ESP transformer/electromagnet work, and AMC contracts — based on eligibility, value, and deadlines
• Assist the Tender Executive in preparing and compiling tender documents — technical bids, commercial bids, EMD, company profile, and required certificates/licenses
• Coordinate internally with technical, accounts, and quality teams to collect documents, past project references, and data needed for bid submission
• Support timely and accurate submission of tenders online (portal upload) and offline, within deadlines
• Maintain an updated tracker/MIS of tenders identified, submitted, won, and lost
• Follow up on pre-bid queries, clarifications, and corrigenda by phone, email, or through the tender portal (no site visits)
• Maintain and help renew registrations, licenses, and OEM certifications required for tender eligibility

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in tender/bid support, government e-procurement, or desk-based sales support (industrial/engineering/electrical background preferred)
• Working knowledge of government e-procurement/tender portals (GeM, CPPP, e-tender sites) preferred
• Strong documentation, drafting, and MS Office/Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Good written communication skills; comfortable working independently from a desk (no field travel required)
