Job summary

STL Digital seeks a Technology Engineer – New Product Development in Dadra to drive material extrusion development from concept to customer-ready products. You will plan trials, manage data sheets, tooling, and machines, and coordinate with QA for rigorous testing and validation.

You will prepare technical docs, maintain development records, and ensure Stage-Gate compliance while generating ideas for design improvements and potential patent filings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with material testing and extrusion of HDPE, PVC, PBT, Nylon, LSZH.
• Mandatory AutoCAD design knowledge.
• Knowledge of Data Centre cabling development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand the New Product requirements and plan development trials with proper Data Sheets, Process Sheets, Raw Materials, Tooling (if needed, then design the tooling) and Machines
• Execute development trials on Machines within optimized timeline
• Work closely with the QA Team to test the product against set requirements and analyse the product physically and electrically
• Get product approval from Customer including witness testing, if required
• Preparing product technical documents for customer reference
• Maintain the records of all documents during the product development phases
• Follow Stage-Gate process for product development
• Generating new ideas for product design, modification, and participate in Patent filing
• Technical paper preparation and presentation at different symposium

What the role entails

• Understand the New Product requirements and customer expectations and plan development trials with proper Data Sheets, Process Sheets, Raw Materials, Tooling (if needed, then design the tooling) and Machines

AutoCAD Design knowledge (mandatory)
