Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in polymer, plastics processing, extrusion, or injection moulding.
• Strong exposure to piping systems, building materials, or related manufacturing industries.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-plant manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on experience leading at least one major greenfield project or capacity expansion.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, quality, productivity, cost, and safety performance across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Drive improvements in OEE, first-pass yield, plant efficiency, and conversion costs.
• Lead formulation and compounding strategies, including lead-free conversion and material optimization.
• Strengthen maintenance systems, compliance, and operational discipline across sites.
• Oversee Capex & expansion projects from concept to commissioning, including vendor negotiations.
• Own the product roadmap across pipes and allied water management solutions.

Manufacturing Excellence

• Lead production, quality, productivity, cost, and safety performance across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Drive improvements in OEE, first-pass yield, plant efficiency, and conversion costs.
• Lead formulation and compounding strategies, including lead-free conversion and raw material optimization.
• Strengthen maintenance systems, compliance, and operational discipline across sites.

Capex & Expansion

• Execute greenfield and brownfield projects from concept to commissioning.
• Lead equipment selection, plant layout, vendor negotiations, installation, and ramp-up.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to world-class standards.

Product Innovation & NPD

• Own the product roadmap across pipes and allied water management solutions.
• Build robust capabilities in material science, testing, tooling, certification, and commercialization.
• Partner closely with commercial teams to launch market-led innovations.

Global Technology Partnerships

• Identify and execute technology collaborations, licensing agreements, and technical partnerships with international companies.
• Drive technology transfer and integration into manufacturing operations.

Technical Due Diligence

• Support strategic investments and acquisitions through technical evaluation of assets, processes, and manufacturing capabilities.

Ideal Candidate

20+ years of experience in polymer, plastics processing, extrusion, or injection moulding.

Strong exposure to piping systems, building materials, or related manufacturing industries.

Proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-plant manufacturing operations.

Hands-on experience in executing at least one major greenfield project or significant capacity expansion.

Experience in foreign technology collaborations, licensing, or technology transfer initiatives.
