Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work as the project leader for the NPD in the Copper LAN Cable function.
• Prepare the PRD against the MRD.
• Plan and execute development trials.
• Generate Material requisitions in SAP.
• Conduct FMEA and brainstorming sessions.
• Coordinate with CFT for development trials.
• Analyze dev trials results data for high frequency transmission.
• Plan machine hours and maintain project summary.
• Present project updates to top management.
• Work with IP team for risk analysis and patents.
• Write and publish white papers.
• Hands-on extrusion process knowledge of cabling is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Technology Engineer – Sterlite Technologies Limited

We are hiring for a Technology Engineer for STL with a minimum 2 years of experience post B.Tech in Electrical.

Responsibilities

• Candidate should work as the project leader for the NPD in the Copper LAN Cable function
• Understanding of MRD and preparing the PRD against the MRD
• Tool Design, plan and execute the development trials, Machine knowledge and understanding of the process
• Plan for the required RM for the project, Generating the Material requisitions in SAP, Material handling and accounting during the NPD Project
• Do the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and generate new ideas through brainstorming sessions, do the Root Cause analysis
• Coordinating with the CFT for the Dev trials & product testing, summarizing the results
• Dev trials results data analysis for cable’s high frequency transmission and do the correlation study between various inputs and output parameters of the product
• Machine hours planning and maintaining the project's milestone summary sheet
• Present the project update to the top management as and when required
• Working closely with the IP Team for IP Risk analysis and filing new patents
• Write and publish the white papers for the technical study carried out during the product development
• Good hands on of the extrusion process from cabling industry will be added advantage
• Good in communication and presentation skills
