Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design, research and prototype products while applying engineering principles.
• Perform testing on new and existing products and modify for effectiveness.
• Maintain records of designs and test results.
• Coordinate with CAD, DVP/ PTR teams and production for design reviews.
• Develop designs from customer inputs; ensure fit, form and function.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, research and make prototypes of the products while adhering to design and engineering principles Perform testing of products (new and existing) and modify them to be more effective
• Maintain records and documents of all the work and designs done
• Developing and designing products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards Conducting research and testing to check the feasibility and viability of the design ideas Collaborating with other areas of the organisation, such as manufacturing and quality control Reviewing and providing feedback on the designs of other engineers Maintaining specifications, drawings and technical manuals Troubleshooting design-related issues and making necessary changes Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies and implementing new designs Collaborating with other departments to discuss the financial viability of designs, risk assessments and ensure designs that are economically viable Coordinate for DVP with Cad engg team Operational team & Launch engg team for design review Coordinate with R&D team for FTR & PTR related activities with plant. Also involving with cad team for design changes for 3D & 2D cad model drawing shares to plant for production for Engineering changes in existing product. Making design based on customer inputs like assembly form fit & functions, samples
