Job summary

Ozone Corp Private Limited in Gurugram is seeking a Product Design Engineer to drive new product development and innovation, managing lifecycle from concept to delivery and coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.

You will design with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, evaluate materials and manufacturing methods, and ensure quality, cost, and schedule targets are met through effective project management.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in product design or NPD.
• Experience designing physical/mechanical products preferred.
• Hands-on CAD experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Drive new product development (NPD) and product improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute strategies for new projects aligned with business objectives.
• Identify market and customer requirements for product opportunities.
• Create and develop product designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and other teams.

The role involves managing the product development lifecycle, working on product design and development, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensuring products are developed as per quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new product development (NPD) and product improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute strategies for new projects and product development aligned with business objectives.
• Identify market and customer requirements and translate them into product development opportunities.
• Create, modify, and develop product designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and other internal teams for successful product development.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external business partners for product development and execution.
• Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, product feasibility, cost, and quality requirements.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
• Monitor project risks and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Support product innovation, product portfolio development, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure products meet required quality, technical, cost, and delivery standards.
