Job summary

Astra Microwave Products (AMPL) in Bengaluru is seeking an assembly technician to work on PCB assemblies. You will hand-assemble components using soldering irons and verify functionality of modules using measuring tools.

Qualifications

Job description

• Assembling different electronic components like IC;s, FPGA, BGA, SMD devices using hand tools and soldering irons, SMD workstation
• Testing modules/ PCB products and parts using measuring tools and software to ensure they meet pre-defined specifications.
• Identifying and rectifying product defects and assembly problems, replacing faulty components when necessary.
• Following clean room procedures and safety protocols to handle sensitive electronic components without damage.
• Collaborating with other team members to optimize production processes and improve the quality of the final products.
• Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
• Preparing reports documenting the assembly process and any issues encountered along the way.
