Job summary

Vecmocon in Bengaluru is seeking an electronics technician specialized in PCB repair and battery-related electronics. You will diagnose faulty PCBs, perform precision soldering, replace components, and conduct firmware updates as needed.

The role emphasizes strict ESD practices and accurate service reporting. The ideal candidate has hands-on testing experience, familiarity with lithium-ion systems, and knowledge of BMS concepts, with a readiness to collaborate with engineering and quality teams

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of lithium-ion battery systems.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP/CRM).
• Experience with testing and diagnostics.
• BMS knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with chargers and related modules.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose faulty PCBs using testing equipment.
• Perform component-level repairs including ICs, resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs and connectors.
• Carry out SMD and through-hole soldering/desoldering.
• Conduct firmware flashing, programming and software updates when required.
• Perform functional testing and quality checks after repair.
• Read circuit diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Maintain repair records and prepare service reports.
• Ensure compliance with ESD safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues.
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized.
