Job summary

Assembly Technician Consumer Electronics Manufacturing

We are looking for an Assembly Technician to support the assembly and production of consumer electronic products. The technician will work on sub-assemblies and final assembly by following engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and components as per engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
• Perform main/final assembly of consumer electronic products and appliances.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, jigs, and fixtures safely and correctly.
• Follow the defined assembly sequence, torque specifications, and process instructions.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure products meet required specifications.
• Check dimensions, fitment, alignment, functionality, wiring, fastening, and overall product quality.
• Identify and report assembly defects, component issues, and quality problems to the supervisor or production engineer.
• Maintain proper production records, inspection reports, and documentation.
• Follow 5S, safety procedures, ESD precautions, and workplace standards.
• Handle components and finished products carefully to prevent damage during assembly.
• Support troubleshooting and rework of products when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assembly workstation.
• Work closely with the production, quality, and engineering teams to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.
• Continuously follow and improve standard assembly processes for better quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Training:

Training will be provided to candidates on the product, assembly process, tools, drawings, documentation, and quality procedures.
