Job summary

Genius Consultants in Jaipur is seeking an automation support professional to assist in executing industrial automation applications for on-site and off-site customers. You will work with PLCs, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems and soft starters, supporting configuration, testing and validation under guidance.

This role involves coordinating with senior engineers and sales teams to ensure smooth project execution and to develop practical knowledge of automation products.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing industrial automation applications for on-site and off-site customers.
• Understand customer requirements and support the implementation of suitable automation solutions.
• Assist with configuration, testing and validation of industrial automation systems.
• Support applications involving PLCs, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, servo systems and soft starters.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and internal sales teams to ensure smooth execution of assigned applications.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of automation systems at customer sites.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to automation products and applications.
• Perform basic fault diagnosis and troubleshooting under appropriate technical guidance.
• Conduct functional checks to verify the performance of automation systems.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and coordinate follow-up until resolution.
• Assist in developing automation applications and solutions for OEMs and end-user customers.
• Understand customer process requirements and help identify suitable automation products.
• Support basic programming, configuration and testing activities, as applicable.
• Work with internal technical teams to address application-specific requirements.
• Develop practical knowledge of industrial automation products and their applications.
• Assist in planning and executing PoC activities based on customer requirements.
• Support product demonstrations, application testing and technical validation.
• Record observations, test results and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with sales and technical teams to communicate PoC outcomes and identify further opportunities.

2. Commissioning & Troubleshooting
