Job summary

ORBIT & SKYLINE invites a Technical Sales Engineer II to manage customer requirements, technical queries, quotations, and end-to-end order management, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution.

You will drive order fulfilment, coordinate logistics with customers and suppliers, ensure SAP/ERP data accuracy, and work across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics to develop technical and functional skills while taking ownership of assigned customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain management.
• 2–5 years of relevant technical sales or order management experience.
• Experience with SAP/ERP and MS Office.
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer requirements, technical queries, quotations, and order activities.
• Drive end-to-end order fulfilment, tracking, expediting, and issue resolution.
• Manage customer portals and ensure timely transaction updates.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure ECCN/export compliance and necessary documentation.
• Support customer account setup and pricing alignment in SAP/ERP.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
• Maintain SAP/ERP data, reports, and MIS.
• Take ownership of assigned customers and transactions while developing skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage customer requirements, technical queries, quotations, and order-related activities.
• Drive end-to-end order fulfilment, including order tracking, expediting, and issue resolution.
• Manage customer portals and ensure accurate and timely transaction updates.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ensure ECCN/export compliance and required documentation for applicable transactions.
• Support customer account setup and pricing alignment in SAP/ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams.
• Maintain accurate SAP/ERP data, reports, and MIS.
• Take ownership of assigned customers and transactions while continuously developing technical and functional skills

Eligibility Criteria

Required Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 2-5 years
• Bachelors degree in engineering or supply chain management
• Experience in technical sales, customer management, order management, or supply chain operations
• Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and MS Office
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a cross-functional environment
