Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking an experienced SAP SD analyst to support the end-to-end O2C process in SAP S/4HANA and ECC, including order management, pricing, delivery, and billing. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and robust integration with legacy systems and EDI platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP, with strong SD experience, S/4HANA knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot IDocs and interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SAP with a strong focus on order-to-cash (OTC) and SD
• 2+ years of experience in S4 HANA
• In-depth knowledge of SAP SD processes: sales order management, pricing, availability, delivery, billing
• Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP S/4 and ECC in SD
• Experience supporting EDI integration and IDoc processing
• Familiarity with IT cloud-based OTC/SAP S/4 concepts

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional and operational support for the end-to-end O2C process in SAP S/4HANA and ECC SD
• Monitor, troubleshoot SAP integrations with legacy/third-party systems (EDI and logistics platforms)
• Perform incident triage, root-cause analysis and problem management per SLAs
• Collaborate with ABAP, BASIS, middleware and integration teams to resolve interfaces and reports
• Support regression testing, patch validation, change impact assessments, and UAT
• Assist with change requests, minor enhancements, deployment activities, documentation
• Create and maintain SOPs and knowledge articles; drive process improvements
• Engage business stakeholders, provide status updates and ensure high-quality service
• Participate in on-call rotations to support Global Operations across regions

We are seeking an experienced analyst with expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution processes, and a proven track record of working with SAP S/4, ECC and integration from legacy ERP systems. As a analyst of Sales and Distribution (SD), you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing technological solutions related to the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process within SAP environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, finance, manufacturing, logistics, and other IT units and 3rd party systems to support day-to-day operations successfully.

• Sales & Distribution Support: Provide day-to-day functional and operational support for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process in SAP S/4HANA and ECC SD, including sales order processing, pricing, credit management, Available-to-Promise (ATP), delivery processing, shipping, billing, output management, and integrations with MM, WM, and FI.
• Integration & Data Integrity: Monitor, support, and troubleshoot integrations between SAP and legacy or third-party systems, ensuring data accuracy and business process continuity. Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting integrations with SAP modules (FI, MM, WM) and external systems such as EDI and logistics platforms.
• Incident & Problem Management: Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and problem management to ensure timely resolution of production issues in accordance with established SLAs. Escalate critical issues as needed and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with ABAP, BASIS, middleware, and integration teams to resolve issues related to interfaces, enhancements, reports, workflows, and background jobs.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Support regression testing, patch validation, change impact assessments, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system stability and quality for SAP SD processes.
• Change & Release Support: Assist with change requests, minor enhancements, deployment activities, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful implementation of system changes.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Create and maintain support documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles. Analyze recurring issues, recommend process improvements, and implement preventive measures to improve operational efficiency.
• Business Partnership: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs, provide regular status updates, and deliver a high level of customer service and support.
• Global Operations Support: Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended support as needed to ensure seamless operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.

• 5+ years in SAP, with a strong focus on technology solutions for order to cash and hands-on experience with SAP specifically in the areas of sales and distribution.
• 2+ years of experience in S4 HANA.
• In-depth knowledge of the sales distribution processes within SAP, including sales order management, pricing, availability, delivery processing, billing, and invoicing.
• Proven track record of experience in implementing and supporting SAP S/4 and ECC, specifically in the sales and distribution domain, including project planning, data migration, system configuration, and user training.
• Proven experience supporting EDI integration within the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, including troubleshooting IDoc processing, resolving interface errors, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure smooth electronic data exchange in the Order-to-Cash process.
• Strong understanding of IT cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies relevant to OTC and SAP S/4.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including sales, customer service, logistics, and finance teams.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4 modules relevant to Sales and Distribution (SD), and integration with other modules.
• ABAP debugging is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues and drive process improvements.
• Professional certifications such as SAP certifications, specifically in SAP SD, is a plus.
