Job summary

At Corp Pvt Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to independently drive growth in South India, handling existing customers and acquiring new clients from the automotive and related sectors. You will travel within the territory, manage presentations, forecasts, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires 2-4 years in sales/distribution for automotive components, a mechanical engineering background, and fluency in Hindi, English, and Tamil.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical engineering or Diploma preferred.
• 2-4 years in Sales/Distribution for Bush Bearings/Fasteners or Sealing Products.
• Location: Chennai and nearby areas, Tamil Nadu.
• Must travel 15-20 days in a month within assigned territory.
• Languages: Hindi, English and Tamil.

Responsibilities

• Develop new markets in South India while managing existing customers.
• Nurture key customer relationships and follow up activities.
• Analyze competitor activity, technical advances and market potential.
• Engage in cold calling with customers.

Job description

Profile:1. Independent contributor - will work independently in South India and must develop new market as well to handle our existing customers

2. Must have knowledge of Automotive, Commercial vehicles and Equipments manufacturers (OEMs) and General industries in South India region.

3. Ready to travel at least 15-20 days in a month within assigned territory.

4. Must have good command on Excel, PowerPoint and outlook for communications within team and with customer. Good presentation skills.

5. Follow up activities at the customer and establish and nurture key customer relationships

6. Analyse and evaluate competitor activity, technical advances and market potential.

7. Ready to do cold calling with customers
