Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves identifying and engaging prospective customers, presenting technical solutions, and promoting the company’s extrusion lines and machinery to meet client requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering technical sales presentations, responding to customer inquiries, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate solutions and timely delivery. The Technical Sales Engineer will prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. The role also includes gathering market feedback, supporting product demonstrations and trials, and contributing to sales targets and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Technical Sales and Sales Engineering to understand customer requirements and match them with appropriate extrusion and machinery solutions.
• Proficiency in Sales and account management to generate new business, manage pipelines, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Capability in Technical Support to assist customers with product selection, installation guidance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent Communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly, prepare documentation, and collaborate with internal teams and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in industrial machinery, plastics processing, extrusion equipment, or a related manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and familiarity with basic CAD tools or similar software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with readiness to travel for client visits and site meetings as required.
