Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical or engineering recruiting experience.
• Proficiency in Boolean search and recruiter-grade ATS.
• Experience recruiting Software, Data and Infrastructure roles (e.g., OOP, Python, ReactJS, Snowflake, Databricks, Cisco, Palo Alto).
• Deep knowledge in Software Engineering, Big Data, AI, Network Engineering or Cloud Technologies.
• Ability to operate in rapid response cycles and high-volume requisitions.
• Track record building scalable talent pools.
• Ownership of fill rate targets and accountability.
• Clear communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source and qualify technical talent across drilling, completions, production, and engineering.
• Deliver candidate slates within 48-hour SLA with hiring managers.
• Participate in weekly intake calls with client stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end candidate feedback and adjust sourcing strategy.
• Build and maintain talent pools by geography and discipline.
• Collaborate with VMS program leadership for candidate handoff.
• Report weekly/monthly fill metrics and pipeline health.

Position Overview

Raise is hiring a dedicated Technical Recruiter to lead sourcing operations for our Client's Global Direct Sourcing Program. This role owns candidate identification, vetting, and pipeline development across technical and engineering disciplines spanning Texas, Alberta, and international locations. The program is positioned to fill 50% of the client's global requisitions and requires precision execution, rapid response, and accountability for fill rates against ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and qualify technical talent across drilling, completions, production, and engineering disciplines using advanced Boolean search, vendor partnerships, and proprietary tooling
• Execute 48-hour exclusivity commitments with hiring managers: deliver qualified candidate slates within SLA windows
• Participate in weekly spotlight job intake calls with the client's stakeholders to ensure requisition clarity and candidate fit alignment
• Manage end-to-end candidate feedback loops: collect hiring manager interview results, adjust sourcing strategy based on feedback, and iterate on profile quality
• Build and maintain talent pools by geography and discipline, tracking candidate status and engagement metrics
• Collaborate with the VMS' program leadership and Raise delivery team to ensure seamless candidate handoff and placement coordination
• Report weekly and monthly fill metrics, sourcing velocity, and pipeline health to account leadership
• Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements to support scale

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical or engineering recruiting experience (contingent workforce, direct hire, or agency)
• Proficiency in Boolean search and recruiter-grade ATS platforms
• Experience with Software, Data, and Infrastructure-related recruiting (i.e., OOP, Python, ReactJS, Snowflake, Databricks, Cisco, Palo Alto)
• Deep knowledge in one or more technical areas: Software Engineering, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Network Engineering, Cloud Technologies
• Demonstrated ability to work within rapid response cycles and high-volume requisition environments
• Track record of building and scaling talent pools to support large-scale hiring programs
• Willingness to take ownership of fill rate targets and accountability for results
• Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders (hiring managers, leadership, partners)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, energy sector clients, or large global corporations
• Deep domain knowledge in one or more technical areas: petroleum engineering, drilling, production, electrical, mechanical or construction
• Familiar with Canadian labor regulations (Alberta oil and gas specifically a plus)
• Experience with direct sourcing platforms or technology-enabled recruiting
