Job summary

Minfy in Hyderabad is seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale technology programs and deliver end-to-end outcomes.

You will own project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional teams across cloud, data, DevOps, and integration, and drive governance, budgets, and stakeholder communications. The role requires 10–15 years in IT, proven USD 500K+ program experience, and strong Agile leadership.

Qualifications

Job Description – Technical Project Manager

Position: Technical Project Manager (TPM)

Experience: 10–15 Years

Location: Hyderabad – Work from Office all days

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and execution-focused Technical Project Manager who can lead large-scale technology programs and drive end-to-end delivery excellence. The ideal candidate should be a go-getter with strong ownership mindset, capable of managing complex technical engagements, leading cross-functional teams, and building trusted customer relationships.

The candidate should have successfully managed projects or programs with a cumulative value of USD 500K+, while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, quality governance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

This role requires a blend of technical understanding, program management expertise, customer engagement, Agile delivery experience, and process orientation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery Leadership

Own complete project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and closure.
Drive delivery of multiple technical workstreams involving application development, cloud, integration, data, infrastructure, and DevOps initiatives.
Define project roadmaps, release plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
Monitor delivery health through metrics such as sprint velocity, estimation accuracy, milestone adherence, and resource utilization.
Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, architecture guidelines, and quality standards.

Program & Financial Management

Manage technical programs with annual portfolio value of USD 500K or higher.
Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting, revenue tracking, and resource utilization.
Prepare project plans, effort estimates, and staffing strategies.
Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, and timelines.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary interface between customers, engineering teams, vendors, and leadership stakeholders.
Conduct governance meetings, steering committee reviews, sprint demonstrations, and executive status reporting.
Build strong customer relationships and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies while minimizing escalations.

Agile Delivery & Process Governance

Champion Agile methodologies and ensure disciplined implementation of Scrum practices.
Drive process compliance and governance through effective usage of delivery frameworks.
Establish project dashboards, KPIs, reporting cadence, and operational reviews.
Continuously improve project processes, delivery efficiency, and documentation standards.

Technical Leadership

Possess sufficient technical depth to challenge solutions, review architecture decisions, and guide engineering teams.
Collaborate with architects and technical leads in defining implementation approaches and resolving technical blockers.
Drive adoption of DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud-native approaches, and automation initiatives.
Enable technical teams to improve engineering productivity and delivery quality.

Tools & Delivery Excellence

Hands‑on experience in:
JIRA (mandatory)
Confluence (mandatory)
Microsoft Project / Smartsheet
Agile reporting and dashboard tools
AI-enabled productivity tools such as Copilot, Rovo, Planner, ChatGPT, etc.
Ensure proper backlog management, sprint planning, estimation, documentation, and reporting through JIRA and Confluence.
Establish project documentation standards and governance mechanisms.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Lead cross‑functional teams comprising developers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and external partners.
Mentor project teams on Agile practices, technical delivery excellence, and stakeholder management.
Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

Required Skills & Experience

10–15 years of IT industry experience with at least 5 years in Technical Project Management.
Proven experience managing medium to large‑scale digital transformation projects.
Demonstrated experience handling projects or programs worth USD 500K+.
Experience managing distributed teams and multiple concurrent projects.
