Job summary

Weekday (YC W21) in Bengaluru/Pune is seeking a mid-senior Project Delivery Lead to drive complex IT delivery across Banking/BFSI domains. You will coordinate scope, timelines, risks, and quality, while guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on data engineering familiarity (Datastage, Netezza, SQL, Snowflake, Informatica), strong stakeholder engagement, and mastery of Agile rituals, metrics, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years experience in project delivery management.
• Experience in Banking/BFSI projects is mandatory.
• Strong data engineering knowledge and modern data/engineering ecosystems.
• Expertise in fixed price delivery, estimation, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including scope, timelines, risks, and quality.
• Handle Fixed Price Delivery, effort estimations, forecasting, and project metrics tracking.
• Oversee L3 support operations, shift scheduling, SLA adherence, and escalations.
• Lead and mentor technical teams; handle performance, productivity, and workload planning.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, reporting, and coaching teams on Agile best practices.
• Manage client communications, stakeholder expectations, and business alignment.
• Create user stories, requirements documentation, and ensure alignment with outcomes.
• Support change management, process improvements, and delivery governance.

• Certifications preferred: CSM / PSM I

• Hands-on Knowledge of one of the technologies is a huge plus
