Job summary

Weekday is seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep data engineering knowhow (Datastage, Netezza, SQL, Snowflake, Informatica) to lead L3 support projects in the Banking domain. You will drive delivery management, client communications, agile execution, and team leadership across Pune or Bengaluru.

The role requires shift/roster flexibility and excellence in delivering outcomes, with strong capability in stakeholder management and requirements documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering data engineering projects using Datastage, Netezza, SQL, Snowflake and Informatica.
• Banking/BFSI domain experience is required.
• Proven ability to manage fixed-price deliveries, estimation and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery including scope, timelines, risks and quality.
• Oversee fixed-price delivery, effort estimations, forecasting and project metrics.
• Lead L3 support operations, shift scheduling, SLA adherence and escalations.
• Mentor technical teams and drive performance and workload planning.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, reporting and coaching.
• Manage client communications and stakeholder expectations.
• Create user stories and requirements documentation aligned with outcomes.
• Support change management, process improvements and delivery governance.

• Lead and mentor technical teams; handle performance, productivity, and workload planning.

• Proficiency in Agile, Agile Metrics & Reporting, Backlog Grooming, Requirements/User Stories.
• Ability to Manage Outcome-Based Deliveryand high-quality project execution.
• Knowledge of Digital Acumenand modern data/engineering ecosystems.
• Certifications preferred: CSM / PSM I.
