Job summary

Artha Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager Data Engineering in Hyderabad. You will lead end-to-end project delivery across data engineering and analytics initiatives, create detailed project plans, define milestones, and drive on-time, high-quality delivery.

The role requires 8-10 years of experience, leadership of data teams, engagement with sales for pre-sales, and strong knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and BI ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering data engineering and analytics projects.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and BI ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Databricks/Snowflake is a plus.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

Position: Technical Project Manager Data Engineering

Project & Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across data engineering and analytics initiatives
• Create detailed project plans, define milestones, and track execution
• Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and status reporting
• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with client expectations
• Manage risks, dependencies, and escalation handling

Technical Leadership (Data Engineering Focus)

• Demonstrate strong understanding of:
• Data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes
• Data warehousing, data lakes, and BI ecosystems
• Guide teams on:
• Data modelling concepts
• Performance optimization and scalability
• Act as a bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders

Pre-Sales & Solutioning Support

• Collaborate with sales teams during RFP/RFI and proposal stages
• Participate in client discussions, requirement discovery, and solution presentations
• Prepare:
• High-level solution architectures
• Effort estimations and delivery roadmaps
• Support POCs, demos, and technical presentations

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Interface with clients, internal teams, and leadership
• Ensure clear communication of:
• Project status
• Risks and mitigation plans
• Drive client confidence through strong communication and delivery ownership

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor Data Architects, Tech/Project Leads, Data engineers, Data Analysts and Quality Engineers
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Waterfall SDLC practices
• Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement

Required Technical Skills

• Data & Databases: Strong working knowledge of any of the databases viz: MSSQL, MySQL, Azure SQL , Oracle (PL/SQL), PostgreSQL
• ETL & Data Integration: Hands-on or strong conceptual expertise in Informatica or Talend or Databricks, Data Factory or Snowflake.
• Cloud & Modern Data Stack : Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP. Exposure to Snowflake or Databricks and Understanding of Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
• Data Engineering & BI: Experience and exposure to Data modelling (dimensional modelling preferred) , Data warehouse concepts and BI/reporting ecosystem exposure

Certifications

• Preferred At least one Cloud Certification (AWS / Azure / GCP Developer or above)
• Preferred: Databricks certification (or strong working knowledge) or Snowflake Certification
