Job summary

ZF Group in Chennai is seeking a Cloud Architect for OTA Vehicle Services. You will design and maintain cloud-native SaaS apps, orchestrate OTA delivery, and secure integration with vehicle components.

The role requires strong AWS expertise, experience with microservices, containerized apps, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Opportunity to work on scalable, multi-region OTA solutions for global OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of cloud engineering experience and backend development.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud SaaS development.
• Hands-on with microservices and containerized apps.
• Familiarity with Azure, GCP, Alibaba, or private cloud.
• Programming skills in Python, Rust, NodeJS, Java, or SQL.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native SaaS applications for OTA services.
• Handle delivery orchestration and user management for OTA platforms.
• Integrate cloud OTA services with vehicle side components securely.

We are a motivated team in central R&D at CVS helping to change the game through product digitalization and vehicle intelligence. Our focus is on building solutions for truck, bus and trailer OEMs considering bothonboard and offboardneeds and requirements.

What you can look forward to as Cloud Architect - OTA Vehicle Services (m/f/d):

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud native SaaS applications supporting OTA software Internal
• delivery, update orchestration and user management.
• Integrate cloud OTA services with vehicle side components (TCU/vehicle gateway) via secure communication channels.
• Deploy SaaS components on containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement auto scaling, load balancing, and multi region architectures for global OTA deployments.
• Optimize cloud resource usage for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for SaaS applications, microservices, and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement cloud and application security best practices including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and network isolation.

Your profile as Cloud Architect - OTA Vehicle Services (m/f/d):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 6+ years of cloud engineering experience and backend development.
• Strong first‑hand experience with AWS cloud platform and services.
• Hands‑on experience with SaaS development, microservices architecture, and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with other platforms such as Azure or GCP or Alibaba or private cloud.
• Programming skills in Python, Rust, NodeJS, Java, SQL or similar.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code like Terraform and Orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience with IoT protocols and device connectivity (MQTT, HTTP/REST, WebSockets, gRPC).
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions.
