Job summary

ZF Group in Chennai, India, invites applications for a Senior Engineer - Electrical (m/f/d) to drive electrical item selection for SPMs and assembly stations, and to contribute to panel design and PLC programming. The role includes BOM management and hands-on involvement in validation and commissioning tasks.

Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years in electrical items selection, 3–5 years PLC programming (OMRON, Mitsubishi, Siemens, AB), and proficiency with E-plan software, with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in electrical items selection for assembly stations and SPMs.
• 4-6 years of experience in electrical panel preparation and circuit design for SPM & assembly stations.
• 3-5 years of experience in PLC programming (OMRON, Mitsubishi, Siemens, AB).
• A min. of 1 year experience in E-plan software.

• Knowledge of servo motors, sensors, cameras, and related electricals as per requirements.

• Selection of STD Electrical items
• Knowledge on electricals like, servo motors, sensors, cameras etc., as per the requirements
• Should have experience in Machine validation and commissioning.
• Should have a knowledge of Process capability study, MSA, PPAP and 3rd party devices validation.
• Should have a knowledge of Safety procedures, CE audits, Safety PLC etc.
• Troubleshooting of the 3rd party devices.
• Preparation of Manuals for the SPMs.

Your Profile as Senior Engineer - Electrical (m/f/d):

• 4-6 Years of Experience in Electrical items selection for Assembly stations and SPMs
• 4-6 Years of Experience in Electrical panel preparation and circuit design for SPM & Assembly stations
• 3-5 Years of Experience in PLC programming (OMRON, Mitsubishi, Siemens, AB).
• A min. of 1 years’ experience in E-plan software.
• Experience in handling projects from BOM preparation to delivery and commissioning.
