Job summary

Kanerika Inc. is seeking a Tech Lead / Solution Architect (Stream Lead) to guide an engineering pod delivering enterprise-grade SaaS for data privacy and AI governance.

You will own stream design, break backlog into deliverables, and ensure production-ready code with strong code/design reviews. You will mentor engineers, set coding standards, and collaborate with product managers, architects and QA to deliver scalable, secure solutions using Java/Spring Boot, Python, AWS/Azure, Docker and

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and solution architecture for your stream.
• Breakdown epics into user stories and tasks with reliable effort estimates.
• Lead sprint planning and ensure on-time delivery with Definition of Done.
• Review code and design across backend, frontend and integration components.
• Design scalable microservices, REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Drive release readiness, test coverage, CI/CD gates, and deployment sign-off.
• Identify risks, dependencies and blockers and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, UX and QA to translate requirements.
• Mentor engineers and foster ownership and continuous improvement.

Role:

Asa Tech Lead / Solution Architect (Stream Lead), you will lead anengineering pod (stream) building features for an enterprise-grade SaaSplatform in the data privacy, data governance and AI governance space. You willown the technical design of your stream within the client’s architecturegovernance, break the backlog into deliverable work, and make sure every sprintships production-ready, well-tested code. This is a hands-on leadership rolethat combines solution design, code and design reviews, and day-to-day guidanceof a team of backend, data/AI, frontend and quality engineers.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Ownthe technical design and solution architecture for your stream, aligned withthe client’s architecture governance, standards and review processes.
• Breakdown epics and features into well-defined user stories and technical tasks, andprovide reliable effort estimates.
• Leadsprint planning and execution for the pod, making sure committed scope isdelivered on time and meets the definition of done.
• Conductcode and design reviews across backend (Java/Spring Boot, Python), frontend(Angular) and integration components, enforcing quality, security andperformance standards.
• Designscalable microservices, REST APIs and integration patterns, includingconnectors to SaaS, cloud, data and AI platforms.
• Driverelease readiness: test coverage, CI/CD quality gates, documentation anddeployment sign-off.
• Identifyand manage technical risks, dependencies and blockers, and escalation early tothe Engineering Manager.
• Collaboratewith product managers, architects, UX designers and QA to translaterequirements into technical solutions.
• Mentorengineers, set coding standards, and build a culture of ownership andcontinuous improvement.

WhatYou’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, orequivalent experience.
• 8+years of software engineering experience, including at least 2–3 years as aTech Lead or Solution Architect.
• Proventrack record of leading agile teams that deliver enterprise SaaS products orplatforms.
• Stronghands-on background in Java/Spring Boot and/or Python, with the ability toreview full-stack code.

MandatorySkills:

• Strongexpertise in Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture, with workingknowledge of Python.
• Experiencedesigning RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations and data models fordistributed systems.
• Hands-onexperience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Workingknowledge of Angular and TypeScript, enough to review frontend designs andcode.
• Experiencewith SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solidunderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and release management.
• Experiencewith Agile/Scrum, backlog refinement and estimation, using tools such as Jiraand Confluence.
• Goodunderstanding of secure coding, OAuth2/SSO and role-based access control(RBAC).
• Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills.
