KanerikaInc. in Hyderabad is seeking an Engineer – Backend to develop enterprise-grade backend services and APIs for a data privacy, data governance, and AI governance SaaS platform.

You'll work in an agile pod with senior engineers, frontend developers, and QA to deliver well-tested features each sprint. The role emphasizes REST APIs, microservices, Java and Spring Boot, API documentation, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot; REST APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build workflow, reporting and data-processing features based on user stories and technical designs.
• Write unit and integration tests, and fix defects found during testing.
• Integrate services with databases and third-party APIs.
• Document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, test and staging environments.

Role:

Asan Engineer – Backend , you will develop backend services and APIs for anenterprise-grade SaaS platform in the data privacy, data governance and AIgovernance space, with a focus on workflow and reporting features. You willwork in an agile pod alongside senior engineers, frontend developers and QA,and help deliver well-tested features every sprint.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Developbackend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Buildworkflow, reporting and data-processing features based on user stories andtechnical designs.
• Writeunit and integration tests, and fix defects found during testing.
• Integrateservices with databases and third-party APIs.
• DocumentAPIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Troubleshootand debug issues across development, test and staging environments.
• Participatein code reviews and agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaboratewith frontend, QA and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end features.

WhatYou’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, orequivalent experience.
• 3–5years of experience in backend development.
• Strongexperience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-onexperience building REST APIs and microservices.
