KanerikaInc. is seeking an Engineer – Backend to develop enterprise-grade SaaS backend services in data privacy, governance, and AI governance.

You’ll work in an agile pod with senior engineers, crafting robust RESTful APIs and microservices, while ensuring quality through testing and collaboration across teams. Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot with REST APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build workflow, reporting and data-processing features based on user stories and designs.
• Write unit and integration tests, and fix defects found during testing.
• Integrateservices with databases and third-party APIs.
• Document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across development, test and staging environments.
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA and DevOps engineers to deliver end-to-end features.

Role:

Asan Engineer – Backend, you will develop backend services and APIs for anenterprise-grade SaaS platform in the data privacy, data governance and AIgovernance space, with a focus on workflow and reporting features. You willwork in an agile pod alongside senior engineers, frontend developers and QA,and help deliver well-tested features every sprint.

KeyResponsibilities:

WhatYou’ll Bring:

• • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• • Understanding of microservices architecture.
• • Experience writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• • Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud services.
• • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Goodto Have:

• • Working knowledge of Python.
• • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• • Experience with workflow or reporting engines.
• • Basic understanding of Angular.
