Job summary

The India Cements Limited is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Automation professional for our cement plant in India. You will maintain and troubleshoot DCS, PLC, SCADA, and field instrumentation used in plant operations, ensuring stable production and safe operations.

Responsibilities include calibration, testing, preventive and breakdown maintenance, loop optimization, and supporting automation projects.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in Instrumentation & Automation within the Cement Industry.
• Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, field instrumentation, calibration, loop checking, and process automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Telugu (speaking) is preferred for effective coordination with plant teams and local stakeholders.
• Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Candidates must have prior experience working in a Cement Manufacturing Plant.

• Diagnose faults in control panels, communication networks, sensors, and actuators.
• Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, and Mechanical teams to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit systems, and maintenance procedures.
