Job summary

Purplle.com in India is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily operations across inbound, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory control.

You will lead warehouse associates, allocate manpower, monitor fulfillment metrics, ensure accuracy, conduct cycle counts, and drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced, high-volume fulfilment centre.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in Quick Commerce or E-commerce.
• Experience leading a team in a warehouse supervisor/shift in-charge role.
• Hands-on in inbound/outbound, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Experience in high-volume fulfilment centres, dark stores or distribution centres.
• Knowledge of KPIs, manpower planning, productivity tracking, and stock accuracy.
• Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including inbound, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory management.
• Supervise warehouse associates and allocate manpower according to requirements and shifts.
• Monitor order fulfilment, productivity, picking accuracy, and dispatch TAT to meet daily targets.
• Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing.
• Track team performance and prepare daily operational reports and KPI updates.
• Adhere to warehouse SOPs, safety guidelines, quality standards, and housekeeping.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve targets.
• Manage shift handovers and ensure continuity of activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Prior experience handling a team of warehouse associates in a team leader, shift in-charge, or warehouse supervisor role.
• Hands-on experience in inbound and outbound operations, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
• Experience working in high-volume fulfilment centres, dark stores, or distribution centres is preferred.
• Good knowledge of warehouse KPIs, manpower planning, productivity tracking, and stock accuracy.
• Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills and reporting capabilities.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and manage fast-paced warehouse operations.
