Job summary

Europa Locks in Pune is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to drive precision product design and lifecycle processes. The role focuses on creating accurate 3D/2D CAD models, BOM preparation, and cross-functional collaboration to meet product milestones.

The candidate will contribute to DFMEA and tolerance analysis, develop sheet metal and machined components, and support quality validation during the NPD stages.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical degree required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in precision product design.
• Proficient in 3D/2D CAD software and DFMEA workflows.

Responsibilities

• To Do tasks as per Project Plan & Flow Sheet.
• Part drawings and model preparation; BOM preparation.
• Zero based costing, TSA, DFMEA, GD&T, product testing and validation, stage gates.
• Escalation & ask for help proactively.
• NPD flow KH (Product life cycle management flow).
