Must To Have Skills

• 6 years + Experience in Core Domain of Machine Design, Material Handling, Assembly Automation, Sheet metal, NPD, Plastic product design – is Must
• Must have manufacturing quote related costing, feasibility flair
• In-depth interaction with USA / Exposure to International Customer Relationship management.
• Proven Leadership skills
• Sound fundamentals in basic Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Able to generate manufacturing Quote for SPMs /NPD, Plastic product design (internal or external)
• Responsible for costing, feasibility evaluation execution.
• Make and validate design concepts.
• Understand the requirements and allocate work to team members.
• Lead a team of engineers to adhere with project scope and plan.
• Ensure compliance with customer design guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure full utilization of allocated resources.
• Lead process improvements and drive the cost reduction process.
• Lead design reviews to improve product performance process.
• Co-ordination with customers and supplier.
• Meet project time lines and quality of deliverable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing / production / assembly processes would be a plus.

Desired Skill Set

• Drive strategic programs and directly supervise the activities of reporting Design / Sr. Design Engineers, Project Leads. Ensure that all technical project requirements are captured, prioritized and delivered to the correct standards and quality with the required rigor and visibility by the project engineering teams.
• Ability to work manage projects in a pressurized environment and prioritize when decisions are taken
• Good in engineering mechanics, strength of materials theory of machines.
• A good grasp of engineering and design principles
• 6+ years of core experience in sheet metal design, machine design, material handling equipment design, Machine design.
• 3+ years of experience in leading a team of multidiscipline engineers.
• Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic.
• Knowledge in GDT, stack up analysis.
• Good knowledge on any of the 3D modeling software (SolidWorks / Pro-E / Autodesk Inventor).
• Excellent communication skills and good team working skills.
• Incumbent having Valid USA B1 VISA would be plus.
• Willing to travel overseas for short and long assignments.
• Basic understanding of Information Security Management system
