Job summary

Welmade Locking Systems Pvt Ltd in Pune is seeking a BE Mechanical with 2–5 years of relevant experience to join our product development team. You will benchmark competitor products, coordinate prototype manufacturing with the tool room, perform design validation, and prepare drawings with tolerance balancing in collaboration with CFT.

You will also handle material selection, costing for products and assemblies, and support PPAP with project documentation.

Qualifications

• B.E-Mechanical is required.
• Minimum 2–5 years relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Benchmarking of various competitor products.
• Prototype manufacturing in coordination with tool room.
• Design Validation wrt to design STD.
• Part/Assembly/Sub assembly drawings with tolerance balancing with CFT coordination.
• Material selection of new components.
• Product/sub assembly/Part costing/In-depth tools and process costing.
• Modification/Upgradation of existing products for better quality, cost, feature & finish.
• Coordination with CFT team.
• Project documentation and updating including PPAP.
