Job summary

Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) seeks an experienced PLC Automation Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain industrial automation systems. The role emphasizes PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and troubleshooting on Siemens, B&R and L&T/Delta platforms.

Responsibilities include developing PLC programs, testing and commissioning automation systems, configuring PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and field instruments, and creating control narratives and documentation.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced PLC Automation Engineer to design, develop, commission, and maintain industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, machine automation, and troubleshooting using Siemens, B&R, and L&T/Delta PLC platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PLC programs for industrial automation and machine control applications.
• Design, program, test, and commission automation systems.
• Develop and modify control logic using Ladder Logic, Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and Sequential Function Charts (SFC).
• Configure and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo Drives, and field instruments.
• Develop HMI and SCADA applications for machine monitoring and control.
• Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), and commissioning activities.
• Integrate PLC systems with sensors, actuators, robotics, and third-party devices.
• Support production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting automation-related issues.
• Prepare automation documentation, functional specifications, IO lists, and control narratives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industrial standards.
