Job summary

Welmade Locking Systems Pvt Ltd in Pune district seeks a capable PLC programmer with experience in HMI/SCADA to join its industrial automation team. The candidate will develop, test, and maintain PLC programs and assist in machine commissioning and validation across projects.

Key skills include HMI/SCADA development, familiarity with Modbus/Profibus/Profinet/Ethernet/IP, VFD configuration, and AutoCAD Electrical. BE or Diploma background preferred, with 4–8 years in the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years BE in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• 7–8 years Diploma in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Experience in HMI/SCADA development and in Industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
• Design and configure HMI/SCADA applications.
• Perform machine commissioning, testing, and validation.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, and control panel issues.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams during project execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, including program backups, operating manuals, and commissioning reports.
• Support preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.

Competency (Candidate Profile)

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

• HMI and SCADA development
