Job summary

Welmade Locking Systems Pvt Ltd in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement professional to manage sourcing of non-production goods and services across IT, facilities, HR, travel and professional services.

You will identify, onboard and negotiate with suppliers, ensure timely delivery, monitor spend, and ensure compliance with company policies while partnering with HR, IT, Finance and Admin to support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of indirect procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience in vendor sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Knowledge of indirect procurement categories (IT, Facilities, HR, Travel, Marketing, Professional Services).
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in manufacturing/automotive/engineering industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of indirect materials and services (e.g., office supplies, IT hardware, facility management, travel, utilities).
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
• Raise purchase orders (POs) and track order fulfilment.
• Ensure timely delivery and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Monitor and control indirect spend to align with budgets.
• Maintain vendor database and performance records.
• Collaborate with internal departments (HR, IT, Admin, Finance) to understand requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Handle contract renewals and service agreements.
• Support audits by maintaining proper documentation.
