More Retail in multiple locations in Coimbatore is seeking a Team Leader for its Dark Store operations. You will supervise day-to-day activities, lead a large team, ensure timely order fulfilment and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in Store Operations / Dark Store / Quick Commerce / E-commerce / Supermarket / Grocery Retail.
• Experience in handling a team of 820+ associates will be preferred.
• Candidates from Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart or similar organisations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Dark Store operations and ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Lead and manage store associates across picking, packing, replenishment and dispatch.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and within defined SLA/TAT.
• Allocate manpower based on order volumes and operational requirements.
• Monitor team productivity, attendance and adherence to work schedules.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing and order handover.
• Monitor stock availability, replenishment and inventory accuracy.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO processes and proper handling of perishables.
• Identify stock discrepancies, damages, expiry and shrinkage and report them promptly.
• Train, coach and motivate associates to improve productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety and hygiene standards.
• Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate critical concerns to the Store Manager.
• Monitor key operational metrics and maintain daily reports/MIS.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving order fulfilment, productivity, inventory and customer experience targets.
• Maintain a clean, organised and audit-ready Dark Store.

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and responsible Team Leader to support the day-to-day operations of our Dark Store. The role involves supervising store associates, ensuring timely order fulfilment, maintaining inventory accuracy and driving team productivity.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Dark Store, Fulfilment Centre, Supermarket or Grocery Retail operations.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in handling a team of 820+ associates will be preferred.
• Candidates from Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, Flipkart or similar organisations are preferred.
• Good understanding of order fulfilment and inventory operations.
• Strong people-handling and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and operational MIS.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Education

Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with experience in Retail, Operations, E-commerce or Supply Chain will be preferred.
