Job summary

Mangalam Cement is seeking a procurement professional to oversee CAPEX equipment, engineering items, spares, and service contracts for our manufacturing operations. The role involves vendor development, RFQ processes, and commercial evaluation to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.

The candidate will coordinate with Engineering/Projects/Maintenance teams to align procurement with technical needs and drive adherence to procurement policies across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAPEX procurement for equipment, spares and engineering items.
• Proven ability to manage service contracts and vendor negotiations.
• Strong exposure to RFQs, comparative statements and commercial evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of CAPEX equipment, engineering items and spares.
• Procurement and processing of service orders/contracts.
• Vendor identification, development and commercial evaluation.
• Floating RFQs, preparing comparative statements and negotiating with vendors.
• Finalization of prices, commercial terms, delivery schedules and contracts.
• Coordination with Engineering/Projects/Maintenance teams for technical and procurement requirements.
• Monitoring timely supply and execution of orders/contracts.
• Driving cost optimization and ensuring adherence to procurement policies.
