Job summary

Matrix Hr Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced procurement leader to manage end-to-end purchasing for civil, MEP, fit-outs, tiles and HVAC. You will lead vendor partnerships, negotiate favorable terms, implement strategies and ensure timely material delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 9 years in purchase and procurement, with focus on cost optimization and process standardization in a construction context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of experience in purchase and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all purchases in the organization (civil, MEP, fit-outs, tiles, HVAC etc A to Z in construction).
• Vendor management - discover profitable suppliers/initiate procurement partnerships/Negotiate with vendors/ensure quality & secure advantageous terms for the company.
• Implement procurement strategies.
• Budgeting- keeping track on the approved budget.
• Generating standard purchase procedures and documents
• Consistently evaluate vendor performance, hunting for new vendors, Examine and test existing vendors
• Analyse offers and negotiation with the vendors
• Preparing purchase order related documents
• Follow up for timely delivery of materials
• Handle scrap sales / disposal based on approved site team reconciliation statements.
• Co-ordinate with site team
• Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Control spend & build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs
