Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical) with MBA in Supply Chain or Operations.
• 8-9 years of experience in procurement within machine, tool, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials and industrial components.
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete procurement function including raw materials, components, consumables, and general factory purchases.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for quality and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Handle import procurement including documentation and coordination.
