Job summary

Delhivery is seeking a warehouse operations professional to manage daily inbound and outbound activities at our Chennai facility. The role focuses on supervising manpower, ensuring efficient movement of shipments, and meeting defined SLA/TAT targets.

You will conduct daily huddles, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines while coordinating with other departments to resolve shipment-related issues. Strong data entry and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Allocate manpower and ensure effective utilization of team members.
• Monitor sorting, scanning, loading, unloading, and shipment processing.
• Ensure all shipments are processed within the defined SLA/TAT.
• Conduct daily team huddles and communicate operational targets and updates.
• Monitor team productivity and take corrective action whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve operational and shipment-related issues.
• Maintain daily operational reports and ensure accurate data entry.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members to improve productivity and performance.
• Handle customer/shipment escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor attendance, shift allocation, and manpower requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
• Support the Station Manager/Operations Manager in achieving daily operational targets.
