Job summary

Medi Assist in Bengaluru seeks an IT recruitment specialist to source, screen and place candidates across Java, Front End, Back End, Full Stack, DevOps and Data Science roles. You will align with hiring managers, post jobs, search profiles, and coordinate interviews and assessments to ensure timely hiring.

The role requires 1–4 years in IT recruitment, proficiency in MS Office and Google Sheets, and experience with major job portals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand job requirements from hiring managers in detail and source relevant profiles as per Technology hiring.
• Post jobs on portals and portals like IJP, invite referrals and search profiles via job boards and databases.
• Screen and respond to applicants; share shortlisted profiles with managers and coordinate interviews/assessments.
• Collect feedback and hire best fit within defined TAT; negotiate salary and propose offers.
• Maintain onboarding documentation and trackers; assist campus hiring and ensure smooth candidate experience.

Role & responsibilities

• Understanding of basic IT concepts, software development lifecycles, and Tech stacks to evaluate talents.
• Understand job requirements from hiring manager in detail and source relevant profiles as per the Technology hiring.
• Post jobs on portals/ IJP/ invite referral applications as well as search profiles via job boards & database to find the right fit
• Carefully screen and respond to all applicants
• Share shortlisted profiles with hiring managers, seek feedback and seamlessly coordinate to schedule interviews/ conduct assessments/ online assignments etc.
• Ensure collecting detailed feedback from hiring managers and use it to hire the best fit within defined TAT
• Collect necessary documents & negotiate salary with candidates and propose offers (within parity) for approval
• Maintain connect with offered candidates till onboarding & ensure all documentation is completed pre-joining
• Update & maintain various trackers & hiring reports
• Assist in driving campus hiring programs
• Ensure overall candidate & stakeholder experience
• Maintain TAT & source-mix ratio
• Seamless coordination- zero delays.
• Error‑free offer processing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Graduate or Post Graduate.
• 1 - 4 years of experience in IT hiring mandatory.
• Must have experience in hiring-Java Developers, Software Engineers, Front End, Back End, Full Stack Developers, DevOprs Engineers, Data Scientists, etc.,
• Understanding of basic IT concepts, software development lifecycles, and Tech stacks to evaluate talents.
• MS Office (excel, word, ppt) & Google Sheets.
• Proficient with portals like Naukri/ Indeed/ LinkedIn etc.
• Stakeholder management- both internal (hiring manager) as well as external (candidates).
