Job summary

Aakash Educational Services (AESL) is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to handle on-site and remote installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. You will manage enterprise assets and act as the liaison with customers on technical matters.

The role requires 5+ years in end-user computing, strong AD/DNS/DHCP skills, and prior team leadership. You will work across Windows, Linux/Ubuntu, and Mac OS environments while supporting network

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, notebooks, and peripherals.

• Provide incident management and support desk functions.
• Configure LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN; manage assets.
• Administer Windows/Linux/Mac OS desktops at client sites.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers, and associated peripherals.
• Manage & Maintains enterprise Assets
• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters
• Provide technical support and incident management services desk functions
• Reviews, troubleshoots and approves operational quality desktops, Laptop, printers, and associated peripherals (Windows 10, 11 and Mac OS)
• Installs, maintains and optimizes desktop /Laptop configurations at customer sites (Windows, Linux, Ubuntu and Mac OS)
• Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems, Wi-Fi, printers
• Performs maintenance and repair services (basic break fix for printers, desktops, laptops.)
• Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of basic Windows/Mac OS/Ubuntu
• Serve as site escalation contact and team lead for current technicians

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in End user computing, AD, DNS, DHCP, IT management tools, latest operating systems, Windows
• Prior team lead experience
• Ability to develop business relationships and communicate effectively with the user community
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• A+ Certification
• Understanding of the fundamentals of network and server/desktop administration, installations, upgrades,techniques, tools, materials, and equipment
• Knowledge of processes and resources required to perform analytical and technical tasks on PC systems
• Maintaining and administering computer networks, including hardware, software applications and configurations.
• LAN, WAN, Support and Wi-Fi Support, VPN configure in client system. Ip assign to Laptop, check the connectivity from host to destination. Crimping, Punching Lan wire and installing port if require.
• Experience in Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS configurations,ensuring system stability and security.

Qualification

• BE/BTech/BSc/BCA or equivalent from reputed college

Preferences

• Wintel & Unix Operating Systems & tools
• MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification
• Knowledge of a variety of Service Industry ticketing/work order generating and tracking systems
• Asset Management experience
