Job summary

KUKU is seeking a passionate HR Intern – Recruitment to join our Talent Acquisition team in Bengaluru. You will gain hands-on experience in end-to-end hiring and build a foundation for a career in talent acquisition.

As an intern, you will source candidates, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and support onboarding while ensuring compliance with data privacy guidelines. You will work closely with hiring managers, participate in campus drives and recruitment events, and track analytics in ATS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• 3–6 months of recruiting/HR experience or internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional candidate interaction.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with job portals (LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed).
• Highly organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job portals and other recruitment channels.
• Screen resumes and shortlist based on criteria and requirements.
• Coordinate interview schedules between managers and candidates.
• Conduct initial phone/video screenings and capture candidate feedback.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, ATS tools, and candidate databases.
• Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding docs.
• Assist in campus drives and employer branding initiatives.
• Support hiring analytics and reporting for the Talent Acquisition team.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and data privacy guidelines.

About The Role

Role Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job portals (e.g., LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed) and other recruitment channels.
• Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on predefined job criteria and requirements.
• Coordinate interview schedules between hiring managers and candidates, including sending calendar invites and reminders.
• Conduct initial phone/video screenings and maintain detailed candidate feedback notes.
• Maintain and update recruitment trackers, ATS tools, and candidate databases.
• Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and other onboarding documentation under supervision.
• Assist in organizing recruitment events, campus drives, and employer branding initiatives.
• Support the Talent Acquisition team with ad-hoc tasks related to hiring analytics and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal recruitment policies and data privacy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 3 – 6 months of relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR (internship or project-based experience is acceptable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with job portals (e.g., LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed).
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Not Mandatory But Advantageous)

• Exposure to CRM tools (e.g., keka, Pyjama HR, or similar ATS platforms).
• Experience supporting campus hiring or large-scale recruitment drives.
• Familiarity with video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and virtual onboarding processes.
